Elementary Schools
Burgundy tops and navy bottoms

Uniform Policy General Guidelines
Tops Plain shirts/blouses with a collar, turtlenecks are acceptable in winter. NO t-shirts.

Shoes Closed-toe shoes/sneakers, NO flip flops or house shoes.

Other Uniforms Approved club uniforms (Scouts, 4-H, etc.) may be worn on meeting days.

Bottoms Pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, and jumpers that are not more than 5 inches above the knee.

NO jeans, biking shorts, stretch pants or sweatpants.

Belts Belts will be worn on bottoms with belt loops.

Shirts and blouses will be tucked in.

CLAIBORNE ELEMENTARY’S

Dress Code

 

This dress code is being implemented to enforce what IS important…….LEARNING not the last fashion statements.

 

We want our students to make statements with the knowledge they have and the information they learn not by how their clothes looks. Hence the reason for UNIFORMS.

 

 

1.  Shirts must be tucked in at all times.

 

2.  Pants must be pulled up at all times.

 

3. Belts must be worn with belt looped pants and no large, fancy, or flashy belts.

 

4.  Socks must be worn with closed in shoes. (No heels)

 

5.  Undershirts must be either, white, navy blue or maroon.  (UNIFORM COLORS)

 

6.  Grills will NOT be allowed.

 

7. No big or long earrings and necklaces must hang just past the collar bone.

 

8.  Shorts and skirts MUST be just above the knee. (PAST FINGER TIPS)

 

9. Hair should be well groomed and neatly kept.

 

10. Oversized (big, baggy) sweatshirts are NOT allowed.

 

11.  Additional colorful accessories (pink shoes, pink belt, pink half jackets) will NOT be allowed.

 

DRESS CODE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED!!  Parents will be notified immediately for any infractions.  Continual noncompliance of this dress code can result in suspension.
